Liebfrauenschule Dießen - Secondary school for girls

There were beaming faces at the reunion after many years when sisters from Kist traveled to Dießen in July to bid farewell to Mrs. Wilhelm as the former principal of the Liebfrauenschule.

Sr. Uta Klober was a teacher at the school in Dießen, which was still a Dominican school at the time, with brief interruptions from 1969 to 2006. Even in her retirement, which she spent in the Dominican convent in Dießen until 2019, she maintained contact with her former colleagues and pupils.

Sr. Irma also lived in Dießen for almost 20 years until 2019 and worked in nursing. She was also delighted to return to her former place of work and the numerous encounters.

The sisters from Kist, together with their coordinator Irene Schneider, who organized the trip, were able to spend the night in the sisters' former convent. They were very grateful for the warm and generous hospitality of the Cruzadas sisters, who have been the new owners of the impressive convent grounds since 2020.
