Bishop Dr Franz Jung visits the Dominican Sisters in Senior Citizens’ Residence Kist

On Sunday, 5 November 2023, Bishop Dr Franz Jung visited the Oakford Dominican Sisters in the Senior Citizens’ Residence Kist.
The bishop of Würzburg celebrated Sunday mass there with the Sisters' community.
This was followed by a lively exchange between the Sisters and the bishop. After a detailed round of introductions, the topic was the Sisters' courageous decision to give up their convent of St. Joseph in Neustadt am Main (Main-Spessart district) and move to the Senior Citizens’ Residence Kist in the district of Würzburg in January 2023.
In the meantime, the three Sisters who had previously been cared for at the Caritas Senior Citizens’ Centre St. Martin in Lohr/Main have also moved to Kist.
