Sr Sophie Hofmann OP celebrated her 60th anniversary of profession on 10 October 2021 at St Martin's, the retirement and nursing home of the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose, California (USA) where she is living in retirement.

Together with her family and her fellow Sisters, Sr Maria-Linus Rudolf OP celebrated a round birthday, her 90th, on Saturday, 2 October 2021.

A little time out in everyday life is necessary, especially after all the Corona restrictions. Therefore, Sisters Karolina, Marianne, Rosalia, Sophie and Nicolina recently met with Sr Margarita MDJ OP for a spontaneous coffee party at St Martin's.

Car Show at Villa Assumpta break the Covid-19 monotony. A fun occasion on all counts was enjoyed by all!

For about 45 years, Sr Kieran nursed at Marymount and Marifont Maternity Homes, and at Villa Assumpta home for the elderly. She died on 11. October 2021.

Sr. Marianne Schmitz OP celebrated her 65th Jubilee of Religious Profession on 12 September 2021 at the Motherhouse of the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose, California, USA.

The Heritage Day long weekend in September saw different events taking place in our communities in KwaZulu Natal.
