On 30 May 2020 - Pentecost Eve – Sr. Hilke Stenner OP and Sr. Magdalena Stauder OP celebrated their Golden Jubilee of Profession in our religious community.

On 3 May 2020 celebrated Sr. Melanie Lehn OP her 60th anniversary of religious profession. Because of the corona restrictions, the celebration was held only among the Sisters.

In mid-March, the Seattle Washington area had become the first “hot spot” for the Covid-19 outbreak in the United States. The governor’s “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order created anxiety for many and opportunity for others.

Sr. Christine’s strong, unshakable, yearning relationship with Christ was remarkable. It carried her through all the ups and downs of life and gave her strength, endurance and patience in her loving attention to people. This was particularly astonishing because of her delicate stature. Nothing was…
