Sr. Albertina Mauel OP celebrated her 90th birthday on 10 November 2020

Sister Gemma extended hospitality and the beautiful surrounding garden of her convent home in San Rafael for the celebration of Sister Mary’s 50th Jubilee.

The Santa Rosa community wanted to meet in a safe and meaningful way to celebrate Sr. Gabi on her Golden Jubilee, but options were limited.

Our Jubilee celebrations in California were impacted by COVID 19 restrictions in general and further “lockdown” requirements for extra protection for our elder Sisters in Mission San Jose and San Rafael.

The longing to recognize Christ in everything and everyone, to “live into" his love and life anew every day and to allow herself to be permeated by his spirit, shapes the vocation of Sr Ursula Bomholt OP to this day.

At a meeting of the leadership team of the convent in Neustadt on 5 October 2020, the sisters paid tribute to the special work of their colleague Manuela Müller.

This year on August 2nd, Sr. Irmengard Götte OP could celebrate her 80th birthday in Neustadt.

The Heimbuchenthal Parents' Council honoured Sr Eva-Angelika with a special certificate for her flexibility and creativity.
