The Jubilee Mass of the centenary of the Oakford Dominican Sisters in England took place on 31 May, the Feast of the Visitation, at St Luke’s Church in Pinner.

When Sr Hilke, Prioress in Neustadt, celebrated her Golden Jubilee of Religious Profession a year ago with only the Sisters, she was full of confidence that she would be able to invite her family and friends to the celebration of her 75th birthday on 14 May 2021.

In 2021 the Dominican Congregation of Saint Catherine of Siena of Oakford, Natal commemorates the centenary of its presence in England.

As the Sisters from Neustadt could not celebrate her birthday at the Caritas Senior Centre St Martin in Lohr, Sr Mellita was invited (as a fully vaccinated person) to visit the convent at Neustadt and celebrate there with the Sisters.

Sr. Melanie-Marie Green-Thompson OP died on April 6, 2021 at the age of 80.

"I am very grateful for the talents I have received as a free gift", says Sr Liboria OP, who celebrated her 90th birthday on 26 March 2021 in the convent at Neustadt. The jubilarian lived and worked for 19 years in South Africa and for over 30 years in the St Michael Reha-Centre in Neustadt.
