70 Years Villa Assumpta: We look back with gratitude on seven decades, on all that has been and with hope for the future cooperation of all that make up our Villa-Assumpta-family.

We met intensively for two and a half weeks and set the course for the future of our congregation.

She hat a great birthday celebration with her fellow Sisters at Villa Asspumpta.

Our mission magazine "kontinente" - (in German) - is a good and contemporary way to support our work, our values and our projects. It appears every two months.

Sisters and staff in Pietermaritzburg decided to greet it with a joyful celebration.

Sr Hermine Klӧker who had lived in retirement at Villa Siena , Pietermaritzburg, South Africa died there on 24. August 2022.

Sr. M. Arnolda died on Wednesday, 17. August 2022 in Neustadt where she entered our Congregation in February 1952.

On 15. July 2022 Sr. Marianne Schmitz OP celebrated her 95th birthday at the Motherhouse of the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose, California, USA.

For the third year running the Sisters in Neustadt gathered with employees for a lunch-time celebration of summer.

Sr Celine Nordmann who had lived in retirement at Villa Siena , Pietermaritzburg, South Africa died there on 5 July 2022.
