The Dominican Sisters are on a journey with people, each of them in their own way. In January 2023, they took a step together on a new path true to the motto of the Dominican Order "To Praise, To Bless, To Preach".

Sr Christiane Sartorius OP celebrated her 50 years of religious profession as an Oakford Dominican on Sunday, 11 June 2023.

Sr Theresita Wanitschek celebrated her 90th birthday on Monday, 3 April 2023, together with her fellow sisters, friends and family in the Senior Citizens Residence Kist.

At the house flea market in the convent of St. Josef in Neustadt, many items found new owners. The proceeds of the flea market will benefit the Neustadt kindergarten, the fire departments in Neustadt and Erlach, and the social projects of the Dominican Sisters in South Africa.

Sr Eva-Maria Thupatsogong has been appointed as the local prioress at Villa Assumpta in Pietermaritzburg.
